Administrative Professionals to Gather at Conference

Administrative Professionals who serve their local school districts and boards of education are invited to build knowledge, grow professional skills, and network with peers at the Administrative Professionals’ Program of the 2022 Joint Annual Conference.  

This professional development opportunity will enhance the roles and skills of the individual(s) in every district who perform(s) the duties of the school board secretary or administrative assistant. The 2022 program offers a wide range of informational programming including FOIA, retirement places, policy manuals, ROEs and ISCs, OMA, meetings and minutes, and more. A keynote will be presented by Elaine Shpungin, Ph.D., entitled “Growing Our Resilience: Cultivating Purpose, Connection, and Courage in Tough Times,” and the 2022 Holly Jack Award will be presented on Friday afternoon.  

Complete details on the 2022 event can be found in the Administrative Professionals' Program Brochure. Attendees must be paid registrants for the Conference; however there is no extra cost for this program. 

The Joint Annual Conference, taking place November 18-20 in Chicago, is an opportunity for district leadership teams to join with fellow partners in educational excellence to showcase the learning and inspiration happening at public schools throughout the state. The Administrative Professionals’ Program takes place November 18 and 19 and is hosted by the Swissôtel in Chicago.
