Service Associate Firms

IASB Service Associates are businesses which offer school-related products and services and which have earned favorable reputations for quality and integrity. Only after screening by the Service Associates Executive Committee is a business firm invited by the IASB Board of Directors to become a Service Associate. Service Associates help IASB carry out its responsibilities to local school boards and serve as an important resource for information and advice helpful to local school districts.

IASB Service Associate members hold an annual meeting to review programs and make suggestions for the upcoming year. Each member firm is entitled to have one voting representative take part in the annual meeting.

A 12-member Executive Committee meets quarterly to advise IASB staff and help carry out programs of the Service Associates. Every two years the Committee elects a chairman to represent Service Associates as a non-voting member of the IASB Board of Directors.
