Inside IASB - a talk podcast
IASB launches a new talk podcast show to discuss school board leadership and education topics with public school leaders.
The debut series, “Inside IASB,” introduces listeners to a set of guiding principles that describe the fundamental duties of board service for close to 6,000 school board member volunteers – elected or appointed – to oversee their public schools. The Illinois Association of School Boards – which serves nearly 850 boards of education – calls these the Foundational Principles of Effective Governance.
Listen as IASB Associate Executive Director of Communications Kara Kienzler and Field Services Director Dee Molinare unpack each Principle and explain how it is put to work through their interviews with six different school board and superintendent teams.
