March 15 was the first deadline of the Spring Session on which substantive Senate bills are due out of committees (the House has until April 5).Only a few bills have passed out of committee; extension requests for individual Senate bill are expected. Many bills being negotiated have not yet made it to committees. IASB Governmental Relations staff continues to work with the bill sponsors and other interested parties to refine bills and address concerns.
