Delegate Assembly What to Expect Webinar is October 31

Boards of education are encouraged to register their delegate for the Delegate Assembly, the meeting where IASB members vote on the proposals submitted by local school boards to direct the Association’s advocacy efforts.
Join the IASB Governmental Relations team on October 31 at noon for the 2023 Delegate Assembly: What to Expect webinar to learn more about the proposed resolutions to be voted on, and to get your Delegate Assembly process questions answered.
Every member board of education is advised to review the proposed resolutions with the full board, using the 2023 Resolutions Committee Report. The board will then determine its vote on each proposal and select one individual board member to serve as its delegate. The roster manager for the district then registers that delegate at the IASB website. Only registered delegates will be able to participate in the Delegate Assembly, which will take place Saturday, November 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, in conjunction with the Join Annual Conference.
Delegate registration will be available onsite but participants are strongly encouraged to register in advance. Further information and updates are available on the Delegate Assembly webpage.
