School Board Governance Recognition Forms are Due August 1 

Here’s a reminder to boards submitting applications for the 2023 IASB School Board Governance Recognition program: The deadline is August 1. 

The School Board Governance Recognition program acknowledges local boards of education that practice effective governance behaviors as outlined by IASB's Foundational Principles of Effective Governance. The program focuses on full board development and participation, rather than individual accomplishments. This is a two-year honorary distinction.
