WELL Summit Supports Women in Educational Leadership 

The fifth annual Women in Education Leading and Learning (WELL) Summit will be held March 9-10, 2023, at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. The event attracts aspiring, new, and veteran educational leaders from across Illinois.  

The WELL Summit is a partnership among 18 statewide organizations, including the Illinois Association of School Boards. Registration is open to school board members. 

The mission of the annual event is to “empower, connect, inspire, support, celebrate, and develop women in educational leadership.” Presenters include nationally known sports broadcaster Lauren Sisler and author and educator Cheryl D. Watkins, Ph.D. The program will include breakout sessions and networking activities.
