Fierce Conversations: IASB's New In-District Workshop

The Illinois Association of School Boards is offering a new workshop for its members. Fierce Conversations, based on the book by the same name, helps boards address difficult truths, strengthen relationships, and promote open dialogue.

The training aims to change a board’s view of an issue from confrontation to collaboration by promoting discussion and curiosity about past and current decisions. Healthy disagreements are essential for productive board conversations, and Fierce Conversations shows how to foster them.
