Registration is Open for COSSBA National Conference
Early Bird Rates End January 12
The 2026 COSSBA National Conference and Unified Boards Alliance Preconference event are scheduled for March 12–15, at The Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky. This four-day national event will convene school board members, superintendents, district leaders, and education partners for focused learning, forward-looking leadership, and meaningful connection.

Early registration rates for the 2026 COSSBA National Conference end January 12. The COSSBA National Conference agenda and registration information are available on the COSSBA website.

Look for more information soon on COSSBA’s 2026 Federal Advocacy Conference, which will take place September 21-23 in Washington, D.C.

The Illinois Association of School Boards and IASB President Tracie Sayre invite Illinois participants in the COSSBA National Conference to the Illinois Breakfast on Saturday, March 14. Registered participants will find information in an email from IASB.

New Webinars on the Slate
Join Caissa K12 and COSSBA on Wednesday, January 21 for the National Parent Poll Webinar - Insights on Parent Opinions on School Choice, Vouchers & the Future of Public Education. This exclusive live event unveiling the results of Caissa K12's latest national parent poll on school choice. In October 2025, Caissa K12 conduced a nationwide poll with adults who are the parents or guardians of children aged 0-18. The poll focused on the opinions of these adults as they pertain to public and private schools. The webinar will discuss the poll results and what the results mean for public schools.

On February 5, get the latest on Student Data and Privacy: What K-12 Leaders Need to Know in a new COSSBA webinar. Student data privacy continues to be a critical issue for K-12 schools as new federal legislation and regulatory proposals emerge. This webinar will provide school board members and district leaders with a clear, practical overview of the latest federal developments affecting how student data is collected, used and protected.
