IASB Division Meetings Underway
IASB Division Meetings kicked off with the DuPage Division at Willowbrook High School (DuPage HSD 88) on February 3. Featured speaker ISBE State Superintendent Dr. Tony Sanders spoke about changes to the accountability system, the educator shortage, and other issues impacting public education in Illinois.
Division Meetings are scheduled throughout the state for the remainder of February and through the end of April. IASB members will find meeting topics centered on strategic budgeting, Artificial Intelligence (AI), collective bargaining, cell phones in schools, and other timely public education topics. The meetings will also feature award presentations to school board members for their leadership activities and governance accomplishments.
