Communities across the nation will celebrate Public Schools Week, February 23-27, 2026.
The Learning First Alliance, which presents the annual observance, has released a toolkit to support local celebrations; the toolkit includes social media graphics, messaging, and other helpful resources.
According to the Learning First Alliance website, “Public Schools Week invites the education community, parents, lawmakers, and others to join us in spotlighting our nation’s public schools and the dedicated individuals behind them.” The organization encourages community members to share “the outstanding work happening in public schools and by educators and education professionals.”
