Federal Advocacy Conference
The COSSBA Federal Advocacy Conference will take place September 7-9, 2025, in Washington D.C. The keynote speaker is Bob Woodward, one of the most influential journalists in American history and the author of 23 best-selling books on the inner workings of federal government.

COSSBA’s non-partisan Federal Advocacy Platform concentrates on major federal issues with widespread impact on the nation’s public schools and students. The Consortium works with BOSE Public Affairs Group to present updates related to federal news and its advocacy platform on its advocacy webpage.

2026 COSSBA National Conference
Registration is open for the UBA Preconference Day on March 12, and the 2026 COSSBA National Conference, scheduled for March 13–15, in Louisville, Kentucky.

COSSBA is seeking proposals for presentations at both the UBA Preconference Day, “From Vision to Impact: Innovative Strategies for Reaching High Student Achievement,” and the national conference, which carries the tagline “Education Evolution.”
