Offers have been posted in the contract negotiations between Summit Hill SD 161 and its teachers union, Summit Hill Council, AFT Local 604, AFL-CIO. Negotiations have been ongoing since March. Offers were posted with the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board on October 13.

At issue are salary, health insurance, and Professional Learning Communities.

Summit Hill SD 161 is a PK-8 district based in Frankfort. The district has approximately 218 teachers and 2,300 students in five schools.

Offers have also been posted in the contract negotiations between Pinckneyville SD 50 and its teachers union, Pinckneyville Elementary Education Association. Negotiations have been ongoing since April. Offers were posted with the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board on October 13.

At issue are working and learning conditions, salaries, health insurance, and sick and personal days.

Pinckneyville SD 50 is a PK-8 district based in southern Illinois. The district has approximately 35 teachers and 490 students.

Cahokia Unit SD 187 and the school board reached an agreement in early October. Negotiations are still ongoing in the Will County SD 92 contract dispute.
