The Exhibition of Educational Environments, sponsored by the IASB Service Associates, is an annual competition for outstanding school design projects. The juried awards program recognizes school designs for instructional, recreational, administrative, or other use. Eligible projects must be new or renovated facilities owned or operated by or for an Illinois public school district. To qualify for the 2026 Exhibition, construction must be completed in time for occupancy with start of school in fall 2026.

Entry deadline is July 10. Submissions must be made by the project’s architect firm.

Projects nominated by the jury for exhibition will be displayed at the IASB • IASA • IASBO Joint Annual Conference in Chicago, November 20-22.
