This installment of “What’s New?” shares information about a new badge system for the 2026 Joint Annual Conference.

Registered attendees will now pick up their Joint Annual Conference badges onsite, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, Sheraton Grand, or Swissôtel.

This means badges will not be mailed to districts.

Extra time is built in, as badge printing and pick-up will begin on the afternoon of Thursday, November 19, at all three locations. Multiple stations will be available, and IASB and vendor staff will be present to assist. Attendees can also get a useful lanyard and select ribbons to embellish their Conference badge.

On-site registrations and badge changes will take place at the Hyatt Regency badge pick-up location. Look for directional signs to guide you to the badge pick-up locations at each hotel.

Badges will be printed individually. Your badge will allow entrance into the Conference sites, the Exhibit Trade Shows, and any additional events you have signed up for, such as Friday Focus Workshops or the Administrative Professionals’ Program. Depending on availability, registered attendees can add or change a Friday Focus Workshop at the Sheraton Grand.
