The Illinois Association of School Boards joins the education community in offering gratitude to educators across the state.

May 4-8, 2026, is National Teacher Appreciation Week. Resources from the National PTA and the National Education Association are available to help school districts honor their teachers.

The National PTA is presenting a toolkit for 2026 with a theme of Teachers Create Magic. The site includes printable thank-you cards, certificates of appreciation, student activities, social media graphics, and web ads.

The National Education Association also offers a toolkit and promotes #ThankATeacher and ways to “Turn Appreciation into Action.”
