A new, customized workshop is now available for IASB member school boards. Conflict Resolution focuses on addressing conflicts stemming from actions of members of the board and/or governance team.

“A board’s approach to conflict resolution yields proactive and reactive responses that minimize disruptions to the board’s work and team cohesion,” said IASB Director of Outreach & Training Perry Hill IV, Ph.D.

The in-district workshop strives to inform the board of conflicts, promote collaboration toward a resolution, and develop practices to minimize the impact of future challenges. The training offers a collaborative approach to conflict resolution, encouraging open dialogue that helps the governance team work together effectively toward shared goals.
