IASB encourages all Illinois school board members to participate in an upcoming Division Meeting scheduled in or close to their division in the upcoming months. These meetings provide excellent opportunities to connect and learn with other board members and to discuss current issues impacting public education.

This round of Division Meetings will feature presentations and discussions on a range of timely topics, including the implementation of artificial intelligence in schools, AI-related risk management, rural education challenges, advocacy efforts, and more.

Division Meetings also offer attendees the opportunity to build connections with peers within their division and across the state. Additionally, attending a division meeting earns members points toward IASB’s Board Leader Recognition Program.
