A recurring wave of candidate shortages has increased employment competition among districts and threatens the stability of the education system. Regional Superintendent of Schools Julie Wollerman (ROE #3) will share insight on data-proven causes and trends, rural and urban dynamics, and options for districts.

Regional Superintendent of Schools Julie Wollerman (Regional Office of Education #3) will share insight on data-proven causes and trends, rural and urban district dynamics, available options for districts, as well as state-regional services that may be coupled with current district efforts to reduce staffing strains. Following the presentation, a question-answer period will occur, as time permits.
