Association Begins Work Towards Member-Driven Strategic Plan

The Illinois Association of School Boards is embarking on a strategic initiative to develop a member-driven strategic plan, to first be implemented next summer for FY2027. The new strategic plan will present a unified vision and actionable strategies that originate from local school board members.

The effort begins now, with the first phase in the process calling upon Illinois school board members to participate in a 12-question survey to assess member needs, determine what members what from their Association, and discern how IASB can better assist members in their local governance work.

IASB has partnered with LBL Strategies for this member-driven strategic plan initiative.
More information and access to the survey is being communicated to members via email and postal mail. IASB encourages members to share their opinions by November 30.
