Offers have been posted in contract negotiations between Naperville CUSD 203 and the Naperville Unit Education Association, IEA-NEA.
Offers were posted with the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board on August 7.
The district offer includes raises for every educator each year of a four-year proposal, maintain current benefit levels, and increasing hourly rates for extra work. The district offer seeks to maintain long-term financial health of the district in the current economic climate.
According to reporting in the Daily Herald, district and union officials “are assuring families that teachers will be in the classroom when students return.” School starts in the district on August 14. The previous contract expired on June 30, 2025.
Naperville CUSD 203 educates 16,000 students in 22 schools. Approximately 1,200 teachers in the district are represented by the Naperville Unit Education Association, IEA-NEA.
Offers have also been posted at Meridian CUSD 101.
