IASB Welcomes Two to Field Services Team

The Illinois Association of School Boards has added two public education professionals to the Field Services Department.  

BedardArlana Bedard, Ed.D., joins IASB as a Field Services Director. Before joining IASB, Bedard served students and families in schools and districts for over 30 years. Her roles have included teacher, curriculum specialist, school and district administrator, and consultant. Bedard received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and her doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles. Bedard brings experience in ensuring engaging and supportive learning environments while building strong partnerships for the benefit of students. 

Williams-McMahonNatalie Williams-McMahon, Ed.D., joins the Association as a Field Services Director. She previously worked as a teacher and professional leadership coach with Chicago Public Schools and was the creator and president of the non-profit Can & Will Help Foundation. Williams-McMahon holds a bachelor’s in liberal arts (film and theater) from Columbia College Chicago, a master’s in teaching, and a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Phoenix. She brings experience in leadership, professional development, teacher evaluation, and restorative justice.  

Both have joined the Field Services team based in the Lombard office. IASB Field Services Directors serve as a direct link between member boards of education and the Association, which provides training, guidance, resources, and professional development to school board members in Illinois.
