2022 Digest of Bills Passed is Online

The latest Digest of Bills Passed, with descriptions and status of education-related bills passed during the 2022 Spring Session of the Illinois General Assembly, is now available online. 

Prepared by the IASB Governmental Relations Department, the Digest is a comprehensive review of all education-related bills sent to the governor for consideration. The Digest categorizes legislation by topic and bill number, each containing a brief summary of the proposal. Indexes are provided to assist users in finding the legislative information they may be seeking. 

A chart indicating what actions the governor can take on legislation and a breakdown of how to determine when a bill will take effect are also provided.
