IASB Legislative Report 102-28

On January 19, the Illinois House Elementary & Secondary Education: Administration, Licensing & Charter Schools Committee discussed several bills that are aimed at addressing the staffing crisis in Illinois schools. Two bills, out of many introduced to address the teacher shortage crisis, passed out of committee. One covers student loan reimbursement for teachers, and another would lower the fee for lapsed educator license renewals.
