Stay Informed with Leading News

As a service to our membership, IASB offers Leading News, a daily collection of public education-related headlines from across the state and nation. Association members understand the importance of staying informed, and it helps to know which topics media are prioritizing. Leading News is one way school board members can meet the directive of the Code of Conduct for School Board Members, which states in part:

I will be sufficiently informed about and prepared to act on the specific issues before the board, and remain reasonably knowledgeable about local, state, national, and global education issues.

Leading News is updated most weekdays, and an archive of past installments is available for those wishing to catch up on the news.
