IASB Launches a New Talk Podcast  

A new podcast from IASB will introduce listeners to school board service with discussions about board leadership and education topics featuring IASB staff interviewing school leaders. 

In the debut series, “Inside IASB,” seven episodes explore board governance basics and the best practices IASB refers to as the Foundational Principles of Effective Governance. Guests of the show are board president and superintendent teams from six Illinois public school districts. Each episode offers insight into governance practices within a district through interviews with IASB’s Kara Kienzler and Dee Molinare.  

Participating districts include CCSD 168 (Sauk Village), CHSD 230 (Orland Park), Community Unit School District 300 (Algonquin), Fieldcrest CUSD 6, Community High SD 99 (Downers Grove), and Naperville CUSD 203.  

The podcast episodes can be streamed online from the IASB podcasts webpage or directly on anchor.fm/ilschoolboards. Each episode can be downloaded and loaded into a podcast player for offline listening.
