Waypoint Webinars Offer Direction to New Board Members

The Illinois Association of School Boards is offering a series of webinars designed to accelerate the learning curve for new school board members. New board members are encouraged to attend these webinars to focus on the road ahead and what they are learning over the first six months of the school board experience.
 
The series of Waypoint Webinars continues through August and includes conversations with IASB staff representing various departments, to gain insight on the first days in office, what IASB offers, and to set the course for new board members.

The first Waypoint Webinar is a welcome from, and introduction to, IASB and its communications efforts. In “IASB: Your Companion on the Journey,” Communications staff walks attendees through key services and offerings available to board leadership teams and to individual board members.
