Registration for the 2021 Joint Annual Conference is open. Members can register individually or districts can register multiple individuals through their IASB member account. Instructions and a registration checklist are available to assist member districts with the registration process.

Early-bird registration rates are $499 per attendee; the same as the previous in-person Conference in 2019. IASB has a limited block of rooms available at eight hotels for registered Conference attendees. A $200 housing deposit is required per each guestroom.

Individuals planning to attend the Joint Annual Conference are encouraged to take part in the additional learning opportunities offered in conjunction with the event. Eight Pre-Conference Workshops (additional fees apply) will be held on Friday, November 19. Conference attendees have the option to register for one full-day workshop or choose from seven half-day trainings offered in the morning and afternoon.

A two-day Administrative Professionals’ Program will take place on Friday and Saturday during Conference. The professional development opportunity is designed to enhance the roles and skills of the individual(s) who perform the duties of the school board secretary and/or district administrative assistant. The program includes breakout panels, a general session speaker, networking with fellow administrative professionals, and the opportunity to schedule a one-on-one appointment with an IASB policy consultant. There is no additional cost to attend the Administrative Professionals program but attendees must be paid Conference registrants.

The Joint Annual Conference is scheduled to take place in person from November 19-21 in Chicago. Conference events will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago (co-headquarters), Sheraton Grand Chicago (co-headquarters), and Swissôtel Chicago.
