IASB Offers Two Virtual Webinars on Collective Bargaining

The Illinois Association of School Boards is working with attorneys from Miller, Tracy, Braun, Funk & Miller, Ltd. to present two discussions of timely collective bargaining topics: Trends in Collective Bargaining Parts One and Two.

On January 21, 2021, join Illinois school board attorneys David Braun and Ellen Lueking for Part One, during which topics will include the bargaining process during COVID and beyond; bargaining substantive COVID issues; evaluation bargaining and its effect this year; and interim bargaining proposals and responses.

Then on February 4, Braun is joined by Brandon Wright for Part Two, which will include bargaining strategy; RIF issues; specific contract language proposals and traps; language to consider; and responses to issues for the coming years.

Both webinars start at 1 p.m. These free events are a benefit of IASB membership. School board members can register for Part One, Part Two, or both at the IASB Events Calendar. Both parts of the 2021 Trends in Collective Bargaining will be available for later viewing in IASB’s Archived Webinars.
