A resource guide produced by the Illinois P-20 Council has been developed to highlight “opportunities to invest in learning renewal and support our students, educators, and broader community in these unprecedented times.”

The P-20 Council Learning Renewal Resource Guide was developed in collaboration with the Illinois State Board of Education, the Illinois Board of Higher Education, the Illinois Community College Board, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, and the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Development, with support from A Better Chicago and Advance Illinois.

The information guide offers strategies and resources regarding academic and social and emotional supports for students, teachers, administration, and staff to help “enable local leaders to make informed decisions and implementation plans at the pace necessary to address the needs of their communities.”

The Illinois P-20 Council is a collaborative group, of which IASB is a member, including state agencies, education institutions, local schools, community groups, employers, taxpayers, and families that studies and makes recommendations in support of education from P (preschool) to 20 (post-college).
