Governor JB Pritzker's May 28 Executive Order extended the disaster proclamation in Illinois. Executive Order 2021-11 extends prior coronavirus pandemic-related EOs, including (among other provisions) those for the Open Meetings Act, through June 26 and continues to generally exempt governmental functions from mitigations such as limits on meeting size. School boards should continue to consult with their counsel and local health departments for guidance on in-person attendance limits at board meetings.
