IASB Announces Series of Events for Administrative Professionals

These sessions were developed to offer knowledge-building and assistance for administrative professionals working with the particular challenges of 2020. Although these three sessions are designed especially for the administrative professional, all members are welcome. The events include:
OMA Gray Areas and Pandemic Rules
Thursday, November 5, Noon-1 p.m.
How do you properly apply the Open Meetings Act to virtual meetings, board-attended retirement parties and events, personnel agendas, committees, and board emails? Learn how to navigate OMA’s gray areas and pandemic rules. Presented by Steven M. Richart, Attorney, Hodges Loizzi Eisenhammer Rodick & Kohn LLP.
Staying the Course: Compliance and COVID-19

Join this presentation event to discuss and gain insight into the wide variety of compliance services and supports provided to and for local schools and districts by their Regional Offices of Education and Intermediate Service Centers. A Taste of Equity: An Educational Imperative

This session will also include the announcement of the 2020 Holly Jack Outstanding Service Award, presented by IASB Executive Director Tom Bertrand, Ph.D.
