Illinois Governor JB Pritzker announced on March 31 that the state’s stay-in-place order will extend through the end of April, to “flatten the curve” of new COVID-19 cases in Illinois. This means all Illinois schools will remain closed to on-site learning through at least April 30. School districts in the state are developing and operating under remote learning plans as announced by the Illinois State Board of Education last week.
