Registration Continues through January 17 for Collective Bargaining Events

Updated for 2020, IASB’s “Trends in Collective Bargaining” workshops will take place Saturday, January 25, from 9 a.m. to noon in three locations: Naperville, Springfield, and Mt. Vernon.

Registration is open through January 17, 2020.

The workshops are designed for school board members to learn and discuss key collective bargaining topics with legal experts. Each event will include presentation and discussion on key and current collective bargaining issues, including:
  • Compensation
  • Benefits
  • Working conditions
  • Minimum salary mandates
  • Regional topics in each area
  • And more.
D. Shane Jones from Tueth Keeney Cooper Mohan Jackstadt P.C., will present at the workshop in Mt. Vernon. Shelli Anderson and Nicki Bazer from Franczek P.C., will lead the discussion in Naperville. David J. Braun and Brandon Wright from Miller, Tracy, Braun, Funk & Miller, Ltd. will be in Springfield.
