New Journal Anticipates the 2020s, Reflects on 2019
Date PostedDecember 30, 2019
The first issue of the Illinois School Board Journal for the new decade looks ahead at 2020, particularly the upcoming U.S. Census and the role the education community can play in taking an accurate count and ensuring a fair share of resources for public education. In addition, readers can stay current on cybersecurity risks via four questions school board members should ask. The Journal also offers a commentary on leveraging existing higher education systems to address the ongoing teacher shortage in Illinois.
The January/February Journal also reflects, in words and photographs, on the 2019 Joint Annual Conference, and tells a few stories about telling stories. Look for the print edition of the Journal wherever you get your school board member mail or click here to read the complete digital edition.
