The National School Boards Association has published Transition Recommendations to the Biden/Harris administration, offering “nonpartisan recommendations to guide the incoming administration’s policy platform.”
The national association’s recommendations and its advocacy and policy program focus on “three extraordinary challenges during this difficult time,” COVID-19, heightened racial unrest and tension, and 21st-century and real-world skills. The Transition Recommendation document includes key recommendations for the Biden/Harris Administration for the first 30 days, and then for “2021 and Beyond.”

NSBA stands “ready to work with the Biden/Harris administration to ensure America's public schools are supported and that the voice of the federation of state school boards associations and the nation’s more than 90,000 school board members they represent are heard,” according to the NSBA announcement.
