IASB will offer two webinars for school board members during April.
On April 9, join IASB PRESS editors for a noon webinar that will review PRESS and PRESS Plus Issue 103, which cover a range of measures approved by the General Assembly last year. On April 23, also at noon, IASB will host a webinar by Ralph Martire, Executive Director Center for Tax and Budget Accountability (CTBA) and a school board member at Oak Park-River Forest HSD 200, and Arthur Rubloff, Endowed Professor of Public Policy at Roosevelt University. They will present “Moving Illinois Toward Fiscal Sustainability” to discuss Illinois’ structural financial issues and share potential solutions to move Illinois toward fiscal sustainability.
Free registration for both webinars is available through the IASB events calendar. All IASB webinars are available via archive shortly after the live event. Additional online professional development opportunities for school officials are accessible via IASB’s online learning page.
