Illinois school board members expected to file a Statement of Economic Interests by May 1 have received an extension due to emergency amendments to the Illinois Administrative Code. The filing requirement deadline has been suspended for the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation, plus 30 days.

This emergency amendment stays in place for a maximum of 150 days from March 20, 2020, unless renewed. August 17, 2020, is the 150-day point.

Under normal circumstances, May 1 was the day to file required Statement of Economic Interests with the county clerk, according to 5 ILCS 420/4A-105.
