What to Expect Upon Arrival

When you join us at the IASB/IASA/IASBO Joint Annual Conference in Chicago this November, know that health and safety are a top priority. Host organizations will adhere to all health and safety requirements in place at the time of the event in order for school leaders to safely learn, grow, and connect with peers. The following health and safety protocols and other information for Conference attendees are known at this time. 
Face Masks — Face coverings are required for all guests inside all Conference hotel facilities. 
Cleaning and Sanitizing — Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the Conference facilities. Hotels will provide enhanced cleaning procedures.
Proximity — Signs to direct one-way traffic in high congestion spaces such as the Bookstore, Registration area, and Exhibit Hall will be utilized in appropriate areas.
Food and Beverage — There will be no Food Fair in the Exhibit Hall and no water stations in the Conference facilities. Coffee will be available in the Grand Ballroom Foyer on Saturday and Sunday morning. Some restaurants may have additional health and safety mitigations. It is recommended to call restaurants prior to your visit as websites and online platforms may not have the most up-to-date information. Making group dining reservations in advance.
Hotel Guest Services — For accurate information on guest services, please contact hotel staff directly and visit the hotel websites. Housekeeping and concierge services may be limited. Get the most up-to-date questions answered upon check-in.
