Breakout Session 1: New School Board Member Roundtable

Presented by: Panel of board members

In this round table session veteran board members will share some of their knowledge and experiences in being an effective board member. They will cover multiple topics that are addressed at the board table or within the board team. New board members will have an opportunity to ask questions throughout the session.

Breakout Session 2: Bargaining in Times of Inflation and Labor Shortages

Presenter: Jay Greening, Partner, Miller, Hall & Triggs, LLC

Jay Greening of Miller, Hall & Triggs, LLC will discuss the financial aspects of bargaining given recent inflation and teacher/labor shortages and will provide strategies for schools to assist with attracting and retaining teachers and other employees.
