Trust is often cited as a key factor contributing to high-performing and efficient teams that meet their goals and achieve results. Trust is also a vital attribute for local school boards that are making education-related decisions for their communities.
Acclaimed trust expert David Horsager will be joined by certified IASB Trust Edge coaches on Saturday, August 6 in Naperville to present a live, fast-paced, and engaging workshop – The Trust Edge Experience. The Trust Edge Experience seeks to build high-performing teams by creating a common language that builds connection, improves clarity, and increases productivity.
The all-day event beginning at 8:30 a.m. will allow school leaders from throughout the state to explore the 8-Pillar Framework™ for building trust. Participants will practice techniques to clarify expectations, improve relationships, and reduce interpersonal conflict, as well as methods for appreciating others, building an accountable culture, and recognizing how to rebuild trust when it has been broken.
Online registration is available at a cost of $175 per attendee. Breakfast and lunch are included. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to contact your superintendent’s office for registration assistance. The deadline to register is July 29 at noon.
School board members will receive five points in the Board Leader Recognition Program for attendance at this event. Additional information on The Trust Edge Experience is available online
